the ecomomy and small biz… blah blah blah

i recently saw a bumper sticker and then a billboard with the tag line from Harley Davidson, dont quote me but in essence:  the economy, politics, blah blah blah… Screw it, lets ride!  while i dont have a harley (yet) i totally agree with this sentiment. as a business coach i talk to a lot of people that want my opinion on how business in general and my clients specifically are dealing with this “economic crisis” we’re seeing.  they ask me how are they affected and I want to respond… screw it, lets just keep riding.  if we would spend our time focused on serving customers and building our businesses, we would over come any economic situation they throw at us. might we have to adapt, yes.  should we find out what our customers need to thrive, yes.  can we thrive and continue to grow during these times, absolutely.  it may not be easy, and you may have to retool or get out of your current comfy coccoon, but thats the fun part… the ride… experiencing the open road and the unknown of business.
